Yes, any of the main 5 armor slots could drop in non-tier versions. I think the interest is in acquiring tier through TW without having to use a charge of catalyst of creation, which isn’t coming out til mid-april and will have a weekly cooldown initially.

It can’t be done solo, but Timewalking back to Gundrak gives us all another chance to share the love. Tips: Don’t forget to click on the altars after you kill each boss, or you’ll have to backtrack. Kill Slad’ran’s snake buddies quickly.

It is definitely clearable solo!
Is Timewalking good for leveling?
No it isn’t. Tobiabstruse: It got nerfed a bit, but it’s still better than regular dungeons. Just compare the xp between timewalking and shadowlands.
