What was the old GRE scale?
The old GRE General Test used a scoring scale of 200 – 800, whereas the new GRE scale uses 130 – 170. This came into effect for both the Quantitative Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning portion of the test. The 0 – 6 scoring system for the Analytical, however, was not changed.
Can you send your GRE scores at a later date?
You can order Additional Score Reports at any time during that five-year period. There is a fee of US$27 per score recipient. Note: It takes approximately five business days to process requests to send GRE scores.
Can I send GRE scores after deadline?
Yes, but you should make every effort to have your standardized test scores released to us as soon as possible. Please bear in mind that faculty can begin reviewing applications following the deadline of your program.
Is GRE waived for Illinois Institute of Technology?
GRE and GMAT Waiver: We understand that many GRE and GMAT testing facilities are closed due to the coronavirus. As a result, Illinois Tech has changed our test requirements for 2021. We are no longer requiring students to submit GRE or GMAT scores for all master’s programs.
