Is there a day/time when admission is free? Admission is free after 3:00pm on Wednesdays at the Aquarium. ADVANCE TIMED TICKETS ARE REQUIRED. The Wednesday Afternoon Ticket Store will open on Monday at 3:00pm for that Wednesday’s reservations.

Is NYC aquarium good?
Such a great experience and the children loved it, so did the adults to be honest. All the tanks are clean and well kept. Plenty of different types of fish to explore. The tunnel with fish swimming all around and above you had to be the best part of the aquarium for us.

Filling Your New Aquarium. After purchasing your new aquarium, make sure to set it up, add water, substrate and plants and allow it to settle for at least 24 – 48 hours before adding fish. Once you’ve got your aquarium set up, you’ll be ready to choose which fish will populate your tank.
