Are Ektorp sofas washable?

Should I Choose lofallet beige or white slipcovers for my Ektorp?
While the Lofallet Beige does not reflect natural light as much as the white slipcovers, I am super happy with my choice. As I mentioned, the linen texture actually gives the low-budget Ektorp furniture a higher-end look. And from a distance, you really cannot detect all of the peanut butter stains.
Are your Ektorp slipcovers stained?
Not only were the slipcovers stained beyond Clorox intervention, the actual fabric had ripped from repetitive removal and cleaning… While I briefly considered replacing the original Ektorp slipcovers with white replacement covers, I pondered Albert Einstein’s definition of insanity…
