How is a subway system built?
Essentially, a single, continuous slab of concrete is used as the base, and the rails are supported on the surface using a resilient pad, like hardwood blocks installed in crevices of the concrete. Subway tracks should also be able to connect to other tracks that aren’t inherently part of the subway tunnel.
