What is fermacell board?
fermacell® fibre gypsum board is a one board that does it all – a high performance alternative for plasterboard, blockwork and wet screed. Our unique building board combines superior fire resistance, acoustic performance and impact strength.
What is gypsum Fibre board?
A gypsum fibre board is a reinforced material consisting of gypsum and cellulose fibres. These two raw materials are mixed and after the addition of water (no other binding agents) they are pressed under high pressure to form panel sheets.
Is fermacell moisture resistant?
Is fermacell waterproof? No – but it is moisture resistant. It can be used in domestic showers or bathrooms.

Can you skim fermacell board?

They also have a high load-bearing capacity (up to 50 kg). In contrast to conventional gypsum boards, fermacell® gypsum fibre boards already meet most requirements in the areas of sound insulation, fire resistance and statics in single-layer planking.
