CalOptima provides health care coverage for Orange County residents who are eligible for full Medi-Cal. Once enrolled, we will work with you to find the right health care providers to meet your needs. We also have many special programs to help you maintain your health.

You may be asked to go to an urgent care center or to the hospital emergency room. Show your CalOptima Medi-Cal ID card when you get after-hours care. Interpreter services are available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at no cost to you.

All of our available doctors accept Kaiser Permanente members with Medi-Cal coverage. Get care from a doctor or specialist – including appointments, exams, and treatment. Your child can get regular check-ups – including shots and vaccines. Get prescriptions that fit within our list of covered drugs.
