Book a pitch Inchcailloch Campsite opens on 1st March 2020. You can book your stay below. Individual group sizes are limited to 6 people. Once on the island you can explore the woodlands and spot wildlife from one of two walking routes.

Inchcailloch is Gaelic for the ‘island of the old or cowled woman’ and is named after St Kentigerna, the daughter of an Irish King and mother of St Fillan who is said to have set up a nunnery on the island. The ferry from Luss Pier is a longer journey, but the route gets you close to some of the other picturesque islands of Loch Lomond. There is no debate that Inchcailloch is an extraordinary place, arguably perhaps the most beautiful location within the National Park.
