What is life of Jesus Christ?
During His life on the earth, He cared for the poor, He healed the sick (see Luke 17:12–19), and He never turned away little children (see Matthew 19:13–14). His love is endless and available to all of us. Jesus taught that we must forgive. Even as He died on the cross, Jesus forgave the people who killed Him.
What did Jesus do in his life?
The five major milestones in the New Testament narrative of the life of Jesus are his Baptism, Transfiguration, Crucifixion, Resurrection and Ascension.
Why is Jesus life so important?
Jesus is important to us because through His Atonement, teachings, hope, peace, and example, He helps us change our lives, face our trials, and move forward with faith as we journey back to Him and His Father.
Why God is important to our life?
God is God and He works all things, including your life, according to his purposes. Nothing can happen without God ordaining it. Psalm 57:2 says, “I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me.” This is key in understanding God’s purpose for your life.
What does Jesus save us from?
Salvation from sin Jesus saves us from our sins by his word, through which he calls sinners to repentance. (Matthew 9:13). The psalmist says: “(God) sent his word and healed them.” (Psalm 107:20). Jesus’ word frees us from the bondage of sin.
Who is Jesus to us today?
The Risen Lord, he believed, confronts us here and now precisely as the neighbor in need. That is who Jesus Christ is for us today: he comes to us in the form of the hungry, the thirsty, the stranger, the naked, the prisoner locked away. The neighbor in need is revealed as an incognito form of Christ’s presence.
How did Jesus show his love for us?
Throughout His earthly ministry, Jesus showed His love for others by blessing and serving the poor, the sick, and the distressed. He told His disciples, “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you” (John 15:12; see also John 13:34–35; Moroni 7:46–48).
Why did Jesus come to the earth?
His kingdom is spiritual, not earthly. The death of Jesus was the result of God’s plan, not man’s rejection of Jesus. Jesus came to this earth to do the Father’s will. Jesus said, “For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me” (John 6:38).
What we can learn from Jesus?
While He was on the earth, Jesus taught the way to be happy, find peace, and return to live with God. His gospel still applies today. If you follow Jesus by applying these five lessons He taught, your life will be more joyful and full of meaning.
