Which children would not be considered to be a looked after child Lac?
The term ‘looked after children’ includes unaccompanied asylum seeking children, children in friends and family placements, and those children where the agency has authority to place the child for adoption. It does not include those children who have been permanently adopted or who are on a special guardianship order.
What am I entitled to as a looked after child?

Can I refuse a social worker visit?
You have every right to refuse any social service people admission to your home. They would have to go away and get police assistance + court order (they would have to provide enough evidence to a judge it was an emergency, that your kids were at risk).

Who is invited to a LAC review?
