Killarney’s six yurts are located in the George Lake Campground in their own site away from other campers. A short walk of 70m to 200m will take you to your accommodation.

Do you need a permit to build a yurt in Canada?
Beyond their small ecological footprint, yurts are a lower-cost alternative to a standard outbuilding and, because they are not a fixed structure, there is often no need for construction permits (plumbing and electrical excepted).
Can you park overnight in Killarney National Park?
There is a ‘no overnight camping’ sign (not very apparent when you’re in the car park, so we didn’t see it until the following morning!) There are also barriers (1.95m) but these were open on both sides of the car park so our van had no issues entering or exiting the following morning.
Is there electricity in Killarney Provincial Park?
None of the sites have electricity and campers will have to do without any kind of water or electric hookups.
