What does Faith in Action do?
Its stated mission is “to increase access to health care, improve public schools, make neighborhoods safer, build affordable housing, redevelop communities and revitalize democracy.” Faith in Action supports full citizenship for undocumented immigrants. The organization also supports universal health care.

We are all called to be holy, to live lives of grace, but how do we put our faith in Jesus Christ into action on a daily basis?…Pray without ceasing.
- Adoration – Praising God.
- Contrition – Confessing your sins.
- Thanksgiving – Thanking God for blessings.
- Supplication – Asking for things.
What does faith in action look like?
It means helping those who are in need. Putting faith into action also means loving our neighbor as ourselves, even when our neighbor looks nothing like us, even when we live in one part of the world and our neighbor lives in another, even when we have one color of skin and our neighbor has another.
What happens when Jesus touches you?
When he becomes Lord of our lives he can touch our beliefs, attitudes, behaviors and our hidden prejudices. When Jesus touches us, he can cause us to see other people as people of worth, people that he created and died for, and people that we should love as he loves. Jesus can touch our eyes as well as our souls.
How can we touch Jesus?
We can touch God through our prayers. Jesus said that when we join our prayers with others, we can know that He is in our midst. (Matthew 18:19-20) But we must not think that we can’t be totally alone with God to reach out to Him.
What do you say during evangelism?
Talk about your testimony to encourage the person. Tell them about your version of Christianity, what it means to you, and how your faith has changed your life for the better. It’s important to treat this conversation as a conversation between two people, putting a face on the Church.
