Can you put unequal length headers on a WRX?

With an unequal length header, gas from the two longer runners will remain in the header as it will take longer to reach the collector.

yes, you will need a tune. for any engine modification that is not a catback, retune/adjust the tune in the car.
Does a cat back require a tune WRX?
A cat back really won’t make a different in power one way or other other. The downpipe is the restriction and where you will see the most gains from. So I would just install the catback and enjoy the ride. You don’t need a retune.
Will long tube headers throw a code?
There is NOT ONE long tube header/hi flow cat design that does NOT throw codes or skew fuel trim measurements to the point of creating problems. This is due to o2 sensor location changes, along with converters that are NOT as efficient as factory cats.
Will aftermarket headers cause cel?
