To preserve academic and community standards, noise levels must be held to a minimum at all times and students will be expected to adhere to campus quiet hours. Quiet hours shall be maintained between the hours of 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday and 12 midnight to 10:00 a.m., Friday and Saturday.
Do UCSC dorms have mirrors?
Your room is furnished with a single bed and an extra-long mattress (36” x 80”), a desk, a small desk book shelf, a desk chair, a dresser and closet or a wardrobe, a trash can and recycling bin, a mirror, and robe hooks. We have many single rooms at Cowell College and first-year students are eligible for single rooms.

Apartments and res halls do not have air conditioning. Please be advised that housing does not include hotel-style amenities. Youth programs (18 & under) are housed in residential halls (dorms), typically two-four per bedroom. Floors are gender specific with a common bathroom on each floor.
