Why does my zero water filter keep clogging?
The problem is that the filter probably has a big air bubble inside and prevents the water to drain through. Just tap the filter and sometimes the bubble would break into smaller bubbles and release through the two holes. If that does not do it, try using a small blunt object and wiggle the membrane underneath.

Thank you for contacting ZeroWater. Refrigeration of the pitcher is not required. It is a matter of personal preference. If you do plan on keeping it outside of the refrigerator make sure to avoid direct sunlight so your water stays fresh.
Does ZeroWater filter remove bacteria?
Sorry, Zero Water cannot remove bacteria, cysts, viruses and other microbiological contaminants. You should only use treated municipal water with your Zero Water pitcher or bottle.
