Cutimed Sorbact gel is a hydrogel dressing with hydrophobic interaction which can be used to assist in the debridement process with the ability to trap bacteria within the dressing at the same time.

Can Cutimed Sorbact be cut?

Cutimed® Sorbact® Hydroactive B is suitable for use in combination with low pressure compression therapy for contaminated, colonized or infected exuding wounds. Cutimed® Sorbact® Hydroactive B should not be cut to shape wound. Avoid overlapping two or more Cutimed® Sorbact® Hydroactive B dressings.

How to use

  1. Prepare the wound according to local clinical practice.

Applying the dressing In deep or cavity wounds, apply Cutimed® Sorbact® swabs or ribbon and leave part of the dressing sticking out of the wound so it can be removed easily. Cover with an absorbent Cutimed® Sorbact® dressing pad if required.
