How does Gorz the Emissary of Darkness work?
“Gorz the Emissary of Darkness” is a card that you’ll see maybe once or twice in a tournament, but every time it’s played you could be in big trouble. Your opponent can Summon Gorz whenever you attack while your opponent has no cards on the field.
What can solemn Judgement not negate?
“Solemn Judgment” can only negate a Special Summon. It cannot negate the effect of a card which Special Summons a monster. For example, you cannot negate a Ritual Summon performed by a Ritual Spell Card, because that is an effect that Special Summons.
Is Gorz the Emissary of Darkness good?
“Gorz” is a great top deck after using an effect monster like “Sky Scourge Norleras” or “Gandora the Dragon of Destruction”. Even more so for decks based around “Sky Scourge Norleras”, as it can be used as material to summon yet another Sky Scourge when it is sent to the graveyard.

Is Solemn Warning better than strike?
Solemn Warning is usually strictly better than Strike because it stops so much more. Flip Summons, Normal Summons, and any effect that Special Summons are all capable of being stopped by Solemn Warning.
