The RetroTINK-2X Pro is an affordable video processor to add high-quality analog video inputs to modern HDMI displays by converting 240p/480i/288p/576i NTSC/PAL sources to 480p/576p.

How does the RetroTINK work?

RetroTINK 2X has three AV inputs. The currently selected input can be selected by pressing the input switch, which is the bottom of the two push button switches on the left of the unit. The input signal can be 240/288p or 480/576i (NTSC/PAL). Important – Ensure that only one powered input is connected at any one time.

  1. Download the FTDI D2XX Drivers and install.
  2. Download the RetroTINK Firmware update tool and install by unzipping and running RT_FWUP.
  3. Download the appropriate HEX file from above.
  4. Plug your device into your computer’s USB port while holding down the ‘Menu’ button.
