How do you use RevitaLens?

Place the lenses in a clean lens case and fill with ACUVUE® RevitaLens Multi-Purpose Disinfecting Solution. Close the lens case caps tightly. SOAK – Allow lenses to soak for a minimum of six (6) hours for disinfection, cleaning and protein removal.

How do you wear contact lenses for the first time?

Here’s how:

  1. Wash your hands with soap and dry them.
  2. Use the middle finger of your non-dominant hand to hold open your upper eyelid.
  3. Use the middle finger of your dominant hand to hold open your lower eyelid. Pinch the lens with your index finger and thumb and take it out.
  4. Repeat with your other eye.

How do I use contact Opti free?

To put your lenses in:

  1. Wash, rinse and dry your hands.
  2. Pour the old solution with the lens into your hand. Then place the lens on your finger.
  3. Use both hands to hold open your eye.
  4. Look up and place the lens on the white of your eye.
  5. Look down and blink to center the lens.

Is Acuvue RevitaLens the same as blink RevitaLens?

The Blink Revitalens product name has now been changed to Acuvue and claims to be the same exact products as Blink… BUT it does not work as well. First, it’s more runny, not thicker consistency as Blink and it does NOT clean the protein of your contacts as well.

Can you put Acuvue RevitaLens directly in your eyes?

ACUVUE™ RevitaLens MPDS provides sustained antimicrobial activity in the lens case—even after partial evaporation. And while it is effective at killing germs and bacteria, it is also gentle on the eye.

Can I use RevitaLens as eye drops?

It is not meant for use in your eyes as drops. Although contact solution does contain the saline solution, which is safe for the eyes, it also has cleaning compounds. These cleaning compounds are the part that can really hurt your eyes.

Why is my contact lens not sticking to my eye?

Make sure your fingers are dry. REMEMBER – a lens sticks to wet surfaces (like the eye) better than dry surfaces, so if your finger is too wet, it will keep sticking to your finger and when you try to put it on the eye, it won’t adhere properly. Gently place the lens on the eye.

Can you put Opti-Free Puremoist directly in your eyes?

Opti-Free Puremoist Rewetting Drops are a safe and effective solution that provides moisture and comfort for all day use. This solution can be used on silicone hydrogel and soft (hydrophilic) lenses while still in the eye.

How long can I leave contacts in Opti free?

30 days
You may leave your lenses in the unopened lens case containing OPTI-FREE® PUREMOIST® Solution for up to 30 days. After this time, your lenses must be cleaned and disinfected with OPTI-FREE® PUREMOIST® Solution prior to wear. Always follow your eye care professional’s instructions.
