Why did Hopper take my money?
All Topics Hopper may need to verify your payment method by issuing a temporary authorization hold before your booking has been confirmed. The hold will appear as a “pending” charge on your account’s payment method. Hopper has not actually charged this amount to your card at this time.
Why did Hopper charge me a dollar?
Each time you enter a new payment method into the app, Hopper places a one dollar ($1) temporary charge in order to confirm that the payment method is valid. That charge automatically reverses once that payment method has been run through the payment processor and will drop off from your account shortly.

Do hoppers work under slabs?

If the block above it is solid (e.g. no slabs, stairs, etc.), and isn’t a container (e.g. chests, furnaces, other hoppers), the hopper will not check for items.
