Can you interchange ortofon stylus?
Are Ortofon’s cartridges’ styli interchangeable? Concorde MkI and Concorde MkII styli are not interchangeable and will not even fit physically. Physically, each series of stylus will fit on alternate cartridge bodies.

I think the OM10 has a different cartridge to the 5E. You can put a OM10/20 stylus on it and it will be an upgrade but you wont get exactly the same as the OM10 cartridge, unless you get the cartridge too, juch like putting a OM Bronze stylus on a OM Blue.
Are the Ortofon OM stylus levels interchangeable?
There are a range of interchangeable stylus levels for AT, Goldring, and Nagaoka, to name a few. Heckto35 likes this. So you’re saying that it is a design thing with the Ortofon OM range that allows a better sound upgrade via the installation of either an OM10, OM20 or OM30 stylus without the need of going for a different Cartridge body.
Should I replace my om5e stylus with an om20?
I have an OM5e and someone suggested I could make a tremendous upgrade by replacing the stylus with an OM20. I was always under the impression that it was the cartridge (any manufacture) that needed upgrading to get better sound quality rather than adding a different stylus.
Is the om30 a good upgrade over the 5e?
Even the aftermarket tonar om30 I carry is a def upgrade over the 5e but it def won’t beat an original if you are good to spend the cash. The stylus is better going up the chain. The om30 is a fine line I believe.. I believe the om cartridge body is similar on each, the generator may get a bit better the higher up you go.
