What is Republic Bank refund?
A Refund Transfer (RT) allows customers to pay their tax preparation related fees and other amounts with their refund. The Refund Transfer Fee will be charged upon receipt of the first funding, regardless of whether it is a federal or state refund.
Is Republic TRS tax refund?
RTs are products whereby a tax refund is issued to the taxpayer after the Bank has received the refund from the federal or state government.
Why did I get denied for refund advance?
If you don’t make enough money, your ability to claim certain tax breaks, like refundable credits, could be limited. Again, your tax preparer knows this and a lack of earned income could result in an RAL denial.
How long does it take to get approved for refund advance?
Once the IRS accepts your return, it generally takes 24 hours to get approved for the loan. The refund advance is then loaded onto a new TaxSlayer Prepaid Visa Card.
Why did I get a deposit from Republic TRS RT?
According to Republic Bank, a Republic Bank Refund Transfer (RT) allows customers to pay for their tax preparation fees with their refund check from the IRS. A Refund Transfer Fee will be charged in addition to the tax preparation fees upon receipt of your income tax return from either the State or the IRS.
How long does it take Republic Bank to deposit my refund?
If you mail your return and do not obtain an Easy Advance, you can expect to receive a tax refund within 6 weeks by direct deposit or mail. To receive an Easy Advance, you are not required to choose a Refund Transfer.
Where is my refund message?
Use the Where’s My Refund tool or the IRS2Go mobile app to check your refund online. This is the fastest and easiest way to track your refund. The systems are updated once every 24 hours. You can call the IRS to check on the status of your refund.
Do I need to renew my EFIN every year?
Once you’re issued an Electronic Filing Identification Number (EFIN), it doesn’t expire. Your EFIN number covers you and anyone working at your tax preparation firm. When changes at your firm occur, you will have to update your e-file application to reflect those changes.
What is a refund transfer?
Refund Transfer is a bank deposit product, not a loan. You can file your return and receive your refund without applying for a Refund Transfer. Payments you authorize from the account associated with your Refund Transfer will reduce the net proceeds of your refund sent to you.
What is the refund Processing service?
The Refund Processing Service is an option for paying your TurboTax fee by deducting it from your federal tax refund. It’s a convenient way to pay for TurboTax if you don’t have (or don’t want to use) your credit or debit card.
