Usually temperatures are moderate at Sun Peaks throughout the ski season with the occasional cold snap. On the plus side, much better chance there will be snow, which is what really matters. I think Sun Peaks is a much better place to go as a family. Looking at Sun Peaks and Big Mountain as 2 possible ski resorts.
