Where are Lanber shotguns made?

The gun is made by Lanber Armas SA, who have a modern factory in the small town of Zaldibar, in the Basque country’s Bizkaya region.
Are Lanber shotguns steel proofed?
Older Lanbers were proofed to only 1200-bar as are modern Zabala guns. This makes the 2097 suited to the most powerful magnum lead loads. The gun is also proofed for steel shot, although Lanber advises against using these cartridges with anything tighter that half or modified choke.

Lanber shotguns are made in Zaldibar, Spain. Lanberusa.com lists as many as 22 different shotguns for competition shooting and hunting chambered for 12 gauge and 20 gauge ammunition. The 2097 was listed as being of competition grade. Weighing in at 8.2 pounds, our Lanber was the heaviest of the trio.
Is bismuth better than steel?
With superior density to steel (9.6 grams per cubic centimeter compared to steel’s 7.86), bismuth alloy pellets hit harder than steel and were safe in old guns that steel shot could damage. They were expensive, however, and brittle, often breaking up upon firing or when they hit bone.
Can you shoot bismuth through full choke?
Overall, bismuth patterned like lead: Through a Full choke, it averaged roughly 70 percent patterns; with a Light Modified choke in a Beretta 3901, it averaged around 55 percent; and with an Improved Modified choke in a 28-gauge Rizzini, it produced 65 percent patterns with Rio 5s.
Does steel shot shoot tighter than lead?
As the more uniform round steel pellets fly perfectly straight, steel shot patterns tighter than lead. It is recommended not to use a choke tighter than modified/½.

What choke is best for shooting skeet?

For clay-target games, an improved-cylinder choke is best for skeet, as it is for most sporting-clays courses. For trap from the 16-yard line (by which I mean the shooting station closest to the target house), improved-cylinder is again a good choice.
