The Café de Tacuba is still in operation as a coffee shop and restaurant on Tacuba Street, in Mexico City’s Historic Center. The band changed its name to Café Tacvba (changing the u for a v) in order to avoid legal issues with the coffee shop.

Café Tacuba has a varied sound which was showcased well through the setlist and the mixing that the Pavilion did was very good. The sound was very balanced. One last thing really has nothing to do with Café Tacuba but rather the establishment. I like the fact that there was no pit. The seating actually went up to the stage.
