Why is it called Calaway Park?
Established in 1982, Calaway Park, which name comes from Calgary away, has grown from its original 14 rides and attractions to 32 rides, 20 food locations, 24 skill testing games and 5 attractions including the Cinemagic 3D theatre, Haunted Hotel, and CP Spray n’ Play.
Can dogs go to Calaway Park?
Dogs / pets are not allowed within Calaway Park. We do offer a Dog Kennel service.
Is Calaway Park open when raining?
Calaway Park is an outdoor facility and inclement weather can affect our operation. Depending on the severity of the weather, Calaway Park may close early or not open. Select rides and attractions will not operate in rain, high winds, lightning storms or other inclement weather conditions.
Do you need to be vaccinated to go to Calaway Park?
Safety is our top priority and Calaway Park is committed to keeping our Team Members safe. All Team Members hired after December 22, 2021, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless they have a valid exemption, in accordance with Calaway Park’s COVID-19 Vaccination Policy.
Can you bring your own food to Calaway Park?
There can be no shared picnic baskets or food outside of your immediate family at the park during this time. Guests are encouraged to apply hand sanitizer before entering ride queue lines, or playing games. There will be hand sanitizer stations throughout the park yet we recommend you bring hand sanitizer with you.
What age is Calaway Park good for?
We have a 6,4 and 2 year old. There are a lot of rides they could go on, but quite a few required a parent (especially for the 2 year old). They loved the shows – even if they weren’t the highest quality. The food was OK and not too overpriced.
