What is an inner tube? In a conventional clincher tyre setup, the tyre has a bead on each side which ‘locks’ onto the rim when inflated but doesn’t have an air-tight connection. It’s the inner tube, sitting inside the tyre, that holds the air. The inner tube has a valve, used to keep it pumped up.

Why tubeless Tyres are better?
Tubeless tyres are generally considered safer because they don’t lose air suddenly in case of a puncture. Air loss is gradual. In case of a puncture by a nail or so, one can simply fill air in the tyre and drive or ride to the nearest puncture repair centre.
Why are tube tires better?
Tubes are better for road cycling- With high-pressure tires, pinch flats are unlikely because you don’t need to run your tires at low pressure. Punctures are less common on the road as well because there aren’t as many sharp thorns. There is really no reason to go tubeless for road riding.
How long do motorcycle tubes last?
usually get about 7 to 10 tire changes before the tube looks too old. usually its still in good shape but the valve stem area gets rust and starts to look bad then i replace it.
