How dilated should you be for induction?
The cervix should be 2-3 cm dilated, and mostly thinned out, to use pitocin for induction. If the cervix is not ready, not dilated or thinned enough, we can use a different medicine to start the induction.

What does 4cm and 75% effaced feel like?
I’m 4cm and 75% effaced, feeling mostly normal and having inconsistent contractions, mostly at night, and they don’t hurt bad, just uncomfortable. Hope it means sooner than later? we sound like we’re on the same track! My husband is frantically doing dishes and prepping. I’m over here all “I plan to go to work tomorrow” lol. yea it does!
