The remainder of the fleet was chartered to Reis und Handels-AG, Bremen until 1909 when Rickmers now owned a fleet of unemployed ships, but commenced a new service to Vladivostok which soon flourished. In 1912 the headquarters of the firm was moved from Bremen to Hamburg and the remainder of the sailing ships were sold.
