To warm up this rice heating pad: Every microwave varies a little in intensity. For ours, I have found 3 ½ minutes to be the sweet spot that gets it really warm and also stays warm for a long time. I suggest trying 3 minutes maximum first, and to never heat it more than four minutes at a time.
