The LEGO Group has postponed the scheduled retirement of 71043 Hogwarts Castle, which was originally due to leave shelves by the end of 2022.

Harry Potter fans may not know the exact location of an American Hogwarts, but the real one exists in England. Alnwick Castle stood in for the famed wizarding school in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
Is the Lego Harry Potter castle worth it?
It was a lot of fun while also being extremely detailed. As you build it and see the Harry Potter world come to life, it’s an amazing experience. I took me about 12 hours to complete the entire structure. Even if you aren’t a big Harry Potter fan, this set is extremely fun to build.

Is the Lego Hogwarts Express retired?
Brick Fanatics has provided a June update to their list of sets to retire by the end of 2022 across all LEGO themes. For LEGO Harry Potter, it includes no less that 15 sets! Of those, somewhat surprising, 10 sets are from last year, and two sets are even from the March 2022 wave: 75955 Hogwarts Express (2018)
