According to Altra’s website, Lone Peak 4.0’s are discontinued now (duh) and are also even almost sold out. I made an extensive research and also contacted the Altra Customer Service about this (find chat history at the bottom – but I’ve already put together everything he or she (it’s “Alex”, lol) mentioned).

What do you think about the Altra Olympus 2?
The Altra Olympus 2 is hard to review due to its unique blend of attributes, both good and bad. The biggest positive is the outsole – it is super durable and has tons of traction. The biggest negative is the lack of durability in the upper, and the fact that the midsole has developed a bit of a sag, or well in the heel.
