When you receive your remote and prepare for first time use, you must pull the plastic tab at the bottom of the remote. REMOTE FUNCTION: Your Luminara® candle must be switched to the ON position for the remote to function. Your remote will not function if your Luminara® candle is in the OFF or TIMER modes.
How do moving flame candles work?
A permanent magnet is mounted to the bottom of the moving flame element. This permanent magnet interacts with the magnetic field produced by the electromagnet located on the circuit board. This interaction is the mechanism behind the movement of the moving flame element.
