All of our traditional oilskin products have been made in Australia for our 120 year history and we will continue to make these garments in Australia. Some of our Desert Wax and Dry Wax jackets and vests are also made in local Australian factories. All Australian made products are easily identifiable on our website.

How do you get mold out of an oilskin coat?
If the garment is completely covered in mould, you can wash the whole coat in diluted vinegar and water. This will get the vinegar right through the whole coat to help kill off the mould. Please note, always store your oilskin garment in a dry well ventilated area.
How do you clean a dry bone jacket?
Hand wash in luke warm water using our Oilskin/Wool Detergent or a pure soap. Do not soak your coat. Rinse off as much of the soap as you can and hang it out to dry using a strong coat hanger. Keep out of direct sunlight.
How do you get mold out of a wax jacket?
The tin is out into boiling water to melt. Use a sponge to rub into your jacket and dry with a hair drier. This melts the wax into the jacket and dries it. I then put it on a coat hanger on the washing line, luckily a very blowy day, to make sure it was dry.
