This Compilation Sphere lets you load up a previous save, for example one where you found all of the books, to play through the game while being able to read all of the Al Bhed language you find.
How many al BHED primers do I need at home?

These books are dictionaries that translate the Al Bhed’s language for the player, and there are 26 of them in all in the game (one for each letter). Successfully finding every volume will reward you with the Linguist trophy.
Can you revisit areas in FFX?
Physically, you could literally backtrack as far as either Guadosalam or Luca. You can go back to Besaid after getting the airship however there is a ‘surprise’ waiting for you… If you’re talking remaster, you can move freely once you get the airship, BUT you get a nasty welcome most of the time.

The best strategy is to use Mix and combine two Gambler’s Spirits and use Trio of 9999 to end the fight within seconds. An easy way to get Gambler’s Spirits early is to unlock the Earth Eater by capturing all of the Calm Lands and Cavern of the Stolen Fayth fiends.
What do the Al Bhed say in the beginning?
The Al Bhed lettering says “Rin Travel Agency.” It’s a billboard advertising the Inn just up the Highroad. (If you come back here later, there’s a Yevonite lady fussing about it.)
Are the Al BHED primers in order?
They are obtained in alphabetical order – Volume I is for the letter “A”, volume II is for the letter “B” and so on. Unfortunately there is no way to go back and pick up some of the Al Bhed Primers if you missed them.
Can you redo cloister of trials?
You can, but it will take you a while to reach the point in which you are free to do so. Once you have the airship, you have to finish an event at Highbridge.
