Students learn of God so that they may imitate Him. They are to become “followers of God” (Eph. 5:1).

Yes, a Christian can take a course in philosophy. Studying philosophy will enhance our understanding of Christ and his teachings. I have to say that studying of the Vedic Tradition, particularly the teaching of the Upanishads, the Bhagavatgita, and the various systems of Hindu thinkers has helped me to understand the teachings of Christ in a better way than explained in Christianity.

Yet, as Christians, whether we are new, not so new, or old, we all struggle with grasping the meaning of grace.
