What qualifies as an IG complaint?
Anyone, including civilians with no Air Force affiliation, may file Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) complaints. Depending on the circumstances, the IG may also accept complaints from dependents or relatives of active duty members and retirees and their dependents.
How do I become IG?
There are 2 ways to become IG in Police department:
- Through passing UPSC exam. You have clear UPSC exam and become an IPS officer. After becoming IPS officer, you will be posted as SP.
- State PCS exam by. When you clear state PCS exam, You will be posted as DSP. DSP becomes SP in 10–15 yrs (variable as per conditions)
