Does Vitamix replace container?
If, in Vitamix’s sole discretion, the failed Container or Container Component cannot be repaired, Vitamix will elect to either (A) replace the Container or Container Component free of charge or (B) refund the full purchase price to the owner, unless Vitamix receives prior written notice of the owner’s preference.
Is the Vitamix dry container dishwasher safe?
We do not recommend placing the container or lid into the dishwasher as this may harm its components. Cleaning instructions can also be found in your Owner’s Manual.
How do you clean a Vitamix dry container?
Simply follow these steps:
- Immediately after use, rinse the blender container with warm water.
- Add a drop of dish soap in the container and fill it halfway with warm water.
- Securely attach the lid and turn the dial to speed 1 (or low).
- Pour the content out and rinse the container thoroughly.

Can you use Vitamix dry container for wet?
The Dry Grains Container is specifically designed to handle ingredients like grains, cereal, coffee, and bread dough. Although the standard or wet container can be used for dry ingredients, the Dry Grains Container is more efficient and effective.
How do I make my Vitamix container clear again?
Pour one cup of white vinegar into the container. Fill the contain half-full with warm water. Let the container soak in an upright, standing position for several hours or even overnight. Pour the contents out and use a soft pot scrubber to clean the remaining residue.
Can you grind dry nuts in Vitamix?
Grinding: The Vitamix container is best suited for grinding foods that contain moisture, such as nuts and meat. The wet blades draw the mixture down and into the blender for proper processing, and the customized hammermill and cutting blades do all the work for you.
Is Vitamix Dry Grains Container necessary?
You do not need a Dry Grains Container to make doughs. You can make doughs in any Vitamix container of any size. For example, we use our standard 64-ounce container to make vegan chocolate chip banana bread.
Can I use the Vitamix dry container for smoothies?
