Can you sleep in ENO hammock?
Side-sleepers rejoice! This probably comes as a surprise, but you can actually sleep quite comfortably on your side in an ENO hammock, just as you would your own bed at home. The key here is to hang your hammock properly so you can enjoy any sleeping position (see diagram).
How do you hang an ENO on a hammock stand?
Attach your hammock to the straps. Attach your ENO hammock between the trees by using the provided carabiners on each end of the hammock. Slip the carabiner into one of the five loops provided. Your ENO hammock comes with an aluminum wiregate carabiner at either end for attachment to straps.
Can I machine wash my ENO hammock?
For hammocks, we recommend either hand washing or machine washing in a front loading washer.
Is ENO the best hammock?
After testing and researching packable hammocks for more than 35 hours, The SingleNest Hammock from ENO rose to the top as the best all-around lightweight hammock for most people. It can be used in any context, ranging from a permanent backyard setup, to car camping, to backcountry travel.
What is the difference between a SingleNest and DoubleNest hammock?
There are only three differences between the ENO SingleNest and ENO DoubleNest hammocks — the weight, amount of fabric, and retail price. Everything else about the two hammocks, from the weight capacity of 400 lbs to the material used (70-denier nylon taffeta), is the exact same.
How do I keep my hammock warm?
It’s essential to trap heat around your body when winter hammocking. A hammock-specific tarp, like the Grand Trunk All-Purpose Rain Fly, is likely your best bet, as you can string it close to your hammock with ease. Otherwise, any standard tarp will do the trick, keeping in warmth and staving off the wind/snow.
How often should you wash your hammock?
You don’t need to worry about washing it after only one trip unless it’s a very dirty one. Hammocks are not made to be washed that frequently, and doing so can damage them more than help. Instead, wash your hammocks only when they are really dirty or at the beginning or end of the season.
