Having gotten tired of being the villain, Hunter decided to become “the hero” after capturing Jay Garrick, the Flash of Earth-3, masquerading as “Jay” to gain Barry Allen’s trust. After his defeat, Time Wraiths turned Zolomon into the Black Flash, reduced to nothing but a slave to the will of the Speed Force.
