What is Orange Dual Terror?
The Dual Terror is a 30 watt head capable of also running at either 15 or 7 watts for even more low-volume saturation. There are, of course, two channels (Fat and Tiny Terror), each with independent volume, gain, and tone controls. The amp is powered by 4 x 12AX7 (ECC83) preamp tubes and 4 x EL84 power amp tubes.
Is the dual terror loud enough?
The dual terror is not loud enough for a serious rock or punk show. It lacks the punch you expect from a good band. Toured the US and Europe with it for portability and can honestly say it would need another 30% to deliver concert volume. We usually play Marshall full stacks and the dual terror just doesn’t compare.
Is the orange terror stamp loud enough?
It may be small, but the Terror Stamp is LOUD. People are going to be surprised by how loud it is.
Is Orange Micro Terror worth it?
So, both cosmetically and sonically, the Orange Micro Terror is a winner by any measure. Overall the sound of this amplifier is good, but if we take into account that it costs about 140 euros at the moment, then the sound is very good. I’m happy to say it’s not a toy, even though it may look like one.
Can you use the Terror Stamp as a pedal?
While it is not quite nuclear in terms of high-gain, the Terror Stamp takes gain pedals well, and super-heavy metal tones are only a well-chosen dirt box away. Indeed, used as a pedal platform, the Terror Stamp can take on all kinds of styles.

You’ll be fine. With a horribly out of control drummer almost no amp is loud enough. Find a guy who understands dynamics and you have a lot more control over stage volume.
