IS THE SUBMARINE TOUR SAFE? Atlantis Cozumel was established on June 28, 1999 and has had no incidents. We are certified by the American Bureau of Shipping standards annually. All systems on the submarine are duplicated and the vessel floats to the surface when it is not powered.
