Is Terciel Sabriels father?
Terciel was the father of Sabriel and Lirael, by different mothers, and was the Abhorsen before Sabriel. He fathered Lirael with a Clayr named Arielle, approximately eighteen years after the death of Sabriel’s mother Elinor in childbirth.
Is the Old Kingdom series complete?

Sabriel’s story and the stories of those around her are interesting and written in such a visual way, making the book incredibly appealing. She is exiled at the end of Clariel: The Lost Abhorsen. During this exile, Clariel adopted the name Chlorr when she chose to sacrifice her humanity in order to become more powerful and extend her life. In Abhorsen, she is forced to flee the battle at the second binding of Orannis by Mogget and Lirael.

What does Abhorsen look like?
Physical Characteristics: The Abhorsen share certain physical characteristics. They usually inherit pale skin, which then becomes paler when leeched of its colour from the waters of death. Abhorsen also have dark, usually black, hair.
What happens to Sabriel?
Sabriel dies, but the previous Abhorsens prevent her from crossing into Final Death as she cannot die without someone else to take her place as Abhorsen. She wakes up with Touchstone before her, and both Mogget and Kerrigor asleep in cat form, bound by Ranna.
Should I read Clariel before Sabriel?
Clariel is set 600 years before all the events involving Sabriel and Lirael. Stacy Meyer Absolutely, start with Sabriel. After that, I recommend reading The Creature in the Case and Clariel before Goldenhand.

What happens to Kerrigor?
He killed the other two guards, who were working for Kerrigor, but failed to stop his childhood friend. Kerrigor was stopped however by the then Abhorsen who appeared, with Mogget in his released form, and sent into death.
What happens to Mogget?
After the events in Abhorsen, Mogget is now unbound and roams The Old Kingdom of his own accord. Sabriel reports she rarely sees Mogget, although he does visit Prince Sameth from time to time. However, he is always in cat form when he visits.
