What happens to Oghren Dragon Age?
When selected to defend the Keep in Awakening, his codex entry states he died when the darkspawn attacked. However, with a fully upgraded Keep, the epilogue says he survived. Oghren’s “Asschabs” was added as a joke between the writers of Dragon Age: Origins.

Who should I take with me to Amaranthine?
I bring Anders, Sigrun, and Nathaniel. For DA2 purposes, bring Anders and Nathaniel if you want them to appear without any questions of being dead. Doesn’t really matter if you fully upgraded the keep. As long as you upgrade the keep and choose to save the city everything should be okay.
How do you upgrade Vigil’s Keep?
The Keep can be upgraded in the following ways….Defenses
- Completing Cost of Doing Business rebuilds the gatehouse.
- Completing What is Built Endures upgrades the walls and gatehouse and replaces a nearby palisade with a stone wall.
- Completing It Comes From Beneath protects the keep from attack by way of the Deep Roads.
How do you beat Sigrun easily?
Here’s what you need to do:
- Approach her and hold up your shield.
- Sigrun attacks with her wings. It could be one wing at a time, several times. It could be that, plus a twirling wing attack.
- Block her attacks.
- Figure out what she’s going to do next (she has several options) and react accordingly.
Is Oghren in Dragon Age Origins?
Heroes of Dragon Age Oghren is a crude dwarven berserker fond of all things alcoholic. He is a companion to the Warden in Dragon Age: Origins and a possible one to the Warden-Commander in Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening.

He can leave Orzammar and the Deep Roads at this point, but he will not talk until A Paragon of Her Kind has been completed.
Did Oghren name his child after the warden?
Oghren named his child after the Warden. In a dialogue with the Warden he mentions that he feels bad about leaving Felsi and the child alone. In Dragon Age II, a painting of Oghren’s concept art can be seen near the bar at the Hanged Man.
