What is going on with Sprint?
In April 2020, Sprint and T-Mobile announced that they will be merging networks. Over the last two years, T-Mobile has been working on transitioning all Sprint customers to its network. You can find the most up-to-date information about the merge on the T-Mobile support site.
How long will the Sprint network be down?
Sprint’s LTE network will be retired on June 30, 2022. The good news is most Sprint LTE and 5G devices are compatible with the T-Mobile LTE or 5G network and will continue to operate on T-Mobile’s LTE and 5G networks. Customers only need to take a few easy steps: Replace the Sprint SIM card with a T-Mobile SIM card.

Do Sprint customers go to T-Mobile now?
There’s not a thing Sprint or T-Mobile customers need to do! For now, all customers will stay with the same Sprint and T-Mobile network and service they’ve been using. Sprint customers can now visit a T-Mobile store for service; most T-Mobile branded stores can now serve both Sprint and T-Mobile customers.
