Did they fix DayZ?
A new hotfix patch is inbound! A brand new hotfix update is set to be deployed for DayZ later today (April 28), with important fixes for both the PC and consoles version of the game. It was just last week that the highly anticipated 1.17 update hit DayZ, which brought with it some brand new weapons, items, and more.
Does DayZ wipe?
No server wipe is currently planned.
Has DayZ fixed duping?
In preventing the game taking the bike after you sell it by dashboarding, you effectively duped the bike. It’s the same even though the methods are different. 20+ fixes later, DayZ can’t fix duping.
How long do backpacks last in DayZ?
For those using this thread to find an answer, here’s what I’ve learned (credit to WeatheredeyeC57 and OuttaGumPacifist) – Backpacks have a 3-day despawn timer on them. This can be refreshed by interacting with the pack or items within the pack.

Can you get banned for duping in STW?
BattlEye WILL NOT ban automatically if someone is carrying hacked items, or duping. BUT if you get caught red handed by say… streaming yourself doing it or posting screenshots/videos.. then yes, you can be banned.

The exact time isn’t known, but the time it takes items to despawn in Rust is in the neighborhood of two-three minutes. That goes for loot sacks, which is usually how most items appear when dropped. Meaning, whatever items you drop, they won’t drop as that item, but rather a loot sack.
How long do stashes Last DayZ?

A buried stash will stay in the ground until: 1. 43 days pass, it disappears.
Why is my car smoking on DayZ?
Its a manual, if you overload the engine with too many RPMs on first gear it will smoke. You have to keep the RPMs low if you dont plan on switching gears.
