How long does CHAS accreditation last?

How long does CHAS accreditation take? It can vary, depending on the amount of background work needed on policies etc. But once submitted, the assessment can be completed in as little as 10 days. The accreditation last for 12 months, at which time you renew it.
What is the difference between CHAS and SafeContractor?
SafeContractor is an accreditation that does exactly that. It demonstrates to potential clients you meet specifics of health and safety as laid down in its detail. The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) is a pre-approval scheme relating to health and safety.

Do I need to show my CHAS card at the clinic to receive subsidies? To receive subsidies for your treatment at the CHAS clinic, you will need to produce your valid CHAS, Merdeka Generation (MG) or Pioneer Generation (PG) card and NRIC during the visit.

Existing CHAS cardholders may have their CHAS cards automatically processed for renewal three months before expiry. Your household’s eligibility will be evaluated based on your latest household circumstances (i.e. income and composition) and you will receive a letter informing you of your household’s renewal outcome.
