Every member of the UF family receives a Gator 1 Card, which is the official identification card of the University of Florida. Whether you are a staff, faculty, retiree, spouse/domestic partner or a vendor, the Gator 1 Card is essential to the UF community.

Where can I find my GatorLink?
When a mailbox is issued, the GatorLink ID becomes the first part of your UF Business Email Address. To create a GatorLink account, you can visit login.ufl.edu and click on the Create Account button on the right side of the page. Follow the prompts to create your username and password.
Can UF freshman live off campus?
Do I have to live on campus at UF my freshman year? No! In fact, nearly 80% of UF students live in off-campus housing, including freshman! In fact, once UF residence halls fill up, a waitlist is implemented so housing on-campus isn’t guaranteed.

Gator 1 Card holders will receive a discount on Pepsi products. Any unused balance carries forward from semester to semester and from year to year until the student graduates or leaves school. The UF Bookstores Gator 1 Debit Account allows the student to deposit funds at any time and for only an initial $15 minimum amount.
