Can you visit Thimble Islands?
There are many ways to get there, by boat, kayak, jet-ski or cruise. The Thimble Island cruises leave from the Stony Creek town docks and provide a great tour with a history of the islands, including stories about the infamous Captain Kidd and his treasure. Tours are about an hour long and cost around $10-$12.
