Does Sony a7 use E-mount lenses?
As we mentioned above, there are E-mount lenses made specifically for full-frame cameras such as the Sony Alpha 7 II and lenses for APS-C cameras such as the Sony Alpha 6000. They use the same mount, so that you can use all lenses listed here on both systems.

I loved it so much I bought (and eventually sold it again to upgrade to other camera’s) it no less than 3 times. I kept going back to the A7 because it is compact, easy and fun to use and delivers very high image quality. Combined with my Sony Zeiss 35mm f/2.8 lens this is a full frame pocketable camera!

The long startup time and short battery life disappoint. Sony Alpha ILCE-7 (A7) is a great alternative to similarly priced entry-level full-frame dSLRs, as long as you don’t need speedy continuous shooting. Note: the design and feature set for the A7 is identical to the A7R, so much of my discussion of the camera is, well, also identical.

What is the difference between the Sony A7 and a7r?
The a7 and a7R are identical in terms of physical design, with the main differences being the sensor and autofocus system. The a7 features a full-frame 24 megapixel CMOS, while the a7R has a 36 megapixel CMOS sensor with no optical low-pass filter.
How does the Sony Alpha 7s compare to other interchangeable lens cameras?
